Our healthcare programme during the year comprised of regular health check-ups, management of malnutrition and waterborne diseases, immunization of children, referral services and dispensing medicines.
We also provided holistic medical treatment. Disadvantaged people living in rural areas and urban slims accept alternative medical treatment because of their cultural links with traditional medical system.
During the period under review we treated more than 1,500 people using different medical systems – allopathic, homeopathic and alternative medicine and held 15 health camps. Patients with not so serious ailments were provided medical treatment on the spot. Serious patients were enrolled for continuing with their treatment. |
